16 December 2006, in the Morning i’m going to 3 showroom of Honda Motorcycle in Bandung, looking for new motorcycle which is subtitute for My Kawasaki Ninja (I sold it a week ago), and my brother always accompanied me for that. I’m really so exited doing that. My head is full with the picture of Honda Tiger, i have a great expectation about that because Tiger has new design for this year, yes it’s radical design compared with the old one.

There’s so many changed in the body although it’s still used same Core Engine, yes the engine is outdated compared with Yamaha Scorpio, but it’s good looking for me and the design of Yamaha Scorpio is ugly (this is not flame for the scorpio user, just my opinion and you can deny it, honestly the Scorpio has best engine compared of the same level bike), maybe it’s a seduction of the Tiger advertisement hehe hmmm maybe.

First showroom is Honda Cibeureum on Cibeureum Street, (i think it’s a biggest Honda showroom in Bandung). There’s only one type Tiger for display at showroom (i just thought wow it’s in demand), the colour is black, i scanned the bike with accurately indeed, even with the tiny detail part, no part of Tiger has been missed by my eyes. Hmmm may be is just the display bike, i thought that because that had bad finishing, the conection of frame,paint,chains and the plastic body is very crude, but i still have positif thought, it was just for a display bike not a real bike.

Second showroom is Honda Pasirkaliki on pasirkaliki street, same with Honda Cibeureum there’s only one display bike and same colour too. I asked the seller, is it the display bike or the real one for buyer ? and he answered that’s the real one for the user, i scanned again the bike with more more accurately indeed, Ohhh boy it was same crude finishing with a bike at Honda Cibeureum, althought it’s still good looking .. if you see from a long distance away hehe. Be anxious with that case, so i decided go to other showroom to make sure about that.

Third showroom is Honda Abdulrahman Saleh, and my brother still accompanied me with patient. There’s 2 display bike, purple and black, the purple had a CW velg (Casting wheel) and the other is standard velg, same with other showroom. For the third time I scanned again the bike. Ohhhh boy it was same crude finishing .. so i decided to cancel buy the Honda Tiger .. yes i was disapointed with the quality. hmm i confused because i don’t have another alternative of bike that i like. So i decided going back home with no result .

I browsed on and on to find alternate bike besides Tiger. I readed most all thing review about a bike .. one by one .. from Scorpio,Bajaj Pulsar,MegaPro .. and then Eureka i found the alternate .. it’s Honda CBR150. On Monday 11 Dec 2006 I’m going to showroom ( maybe the right word is importer because it made in thailand ). First time when i saw it .. woow there’s a big difference between CBR150 and Tiger. The finishing of the conection of frame,paint,chains and the plastic body it’s so smooth.
I had fallen in love for the first time but unfortunately there’s a big difference in price too and i hasn’t brought the money too. So i postpone the plan for a next week, because i have come back to Jakarta.

Saturday, 17 December 2006 i’m going to Kopo to find the bike, but there’s no deal about the price, so i’m going to other importer. Going to GP Motor on Gatot Subroto there’s a lot of bike , after bargaining the price i decided to bought it. First time i try it .. the sockbreaker it’s better than Ninja and the biggest contradiction if you compared with Ninja is the noise.. yes the ninja is noisy (because the difference engine), but the speed of CBR is slower compared with Ninja, Ninja is the fastest bike which i have rided. But anyway welcome My New CBR .. you’ll became my next lovely vehicle.
